PURPOSE

TEKALIT is a red-brown liquid based on plasticizers, with added organic and inorganic substances. Due to its ingredients, the product does not freeze at a temperature down to -20˚C, which defines its purpose as antifreeze additive for cement-based adhesives and plasters. This additive gives the opportunity to work with products, based on cement, at a minimal daily temperature of the air and the base of -10˚C. The product decreases the temperature of freezing of the adhesive “liquid” stage, as well as the quantity of the mixing water, and accelerates the hardening without the risk of unwanted adhesive strength consequences.
Due to its typical dark colour is not recommended to mix TEKALIT with coatings that will be used as bases for facade paints and plasters, as well as with products based on white cement.
