TERAZID is one of the leading manufacturers of thermal insulation materials in Bulgaria and the first Bulgarian company certified with the European Technical Assessment (ETA) for its integrated thermal insulation system Bio Clima.
In order to meet the market demands and to maintain the constant high quality of its materials, TERAZID possess a separate factory for expanded polystyrene production. The company's catalog includes all the necessary main components for complete facade thermal insulation, such as thermal insulation boards from expanded polystyrene, mixtures for bonding and plastering of EPS, XPS and mineral wool, different facade plasters types and additional anchoring and protective elements.
The variety of different types and characteristics thermal insulation materials, as well as the wide range of TERAZID’s facade plasters, provide a wide selection of integrated thermal insulation systems. Each of them has its own advantages and application specifics, depending on the climate and environmental factors. Their constituent components are designed to achieve buildings optimal protection and thermal insulation.
As an expanded polystyrene manufacturer, TERAZID offers different densities, depending on the desired coefficient of thermal conductivity - λ (W/mK). The dimensions of the thermal insulation sheets are 50 cm/100 cm, and the thickness can vary from 1 cm to 20 cm. The expanded polystyrene low thermal conductivity and its high vapour permeability, as well as the possibility of choosing small thickness sheets, make EPS-F a suitable material for both external and internal thermal insulation.
The TERAZID's mixtures for bonding and plastering are designed for different thermal insulation materials. The hydrophobic mixture for bonding and plastering TERMOZID is suitable for all systems with EPS and XPS insulation boards. It is available in two colours - grey and white, and creates an excellent basis for facades decorative finishing with fine plaster or paint. The high vapour permeability base-coat mixture WAT 500 is designed specifically for systems with mineral wool and silicone facade plaster finishing layer. In addition to the strong and secure bonding of the insulation boards, TERMOZID and WAT 500 guarantee the finishing layer waterproofing and crack resistance. Both products are suitable as materials for external and internal thermal insulation.
As a manufacturer of thermal insulation materials, TERAZID its customers all the necessary elements for a complete insulation system. In addition to its expanded polystyrene, adhesives, base-coats, primers and plasters, the company offers various types of reinforcing fiberglass meshes, water drip-out profiles or corner profiles and anchoring elements, such as dowels for brick or concrete.
