At the Bulgarian Construction Chamber Competition TOP 50+ TERAZID EOOD was awarded the Bronze Certificate in the category of Big Enterprises. The Chamber Chairman, engineer Simeon Peshov, granted in person the award at the official ceremony at Kempinski Zografski Hotel on the Builder’s Day – St. Dimitri’s Day.
The prize is awarded for the best commercial and production practice in the construction materials branch after performing of evaluation of the participants’ financial indices, the qualified staff availability, investments in long material assets, ISO certification etc.
In 2005, TERAZID EOOD showed 65% sales growth compared to 2004. Last year, over 400 000 sq. m of façades were built up by dyes and plasters of the company which is over 10 years successfully present on the Bulgarian market. The great search of construction materials of the Terazid brand imposed activity extension and in 2005 the company moved to a new administrative-production base with larger capacity and warehouse options. TERAZID EOOD opened commercial representations in Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv, Pleven and Stara Zagora which were supplemented by well organized distribution network.
Last year, the current ISO 9001:2000 Certificate of TERAZID EOOD was prolonged to 2008, and in 2006 it was certified under BDS and the whole façade integrated system of heat insulation.
The company is the winner of the Gold Medal at the International Plovdiv Fair in 2000, of the Gold Key from the Three Keys Exhibition in Varna in 2003 and the prize of the Gold Wings of Success from the exhibition of Partners Expo – Construction, Furnishing, Technologies, Light Industry in Pleven in 2004.
The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Mr. Asen Gagauzov, the Chairman of the Commission for Local Government, Regional Policy and Public Works, Remzi Osman, the Chairman of the Bulgarian Economic Chamber, Bojidar Danev, as well as Mr. Rainer Robra – the State Minister and Head of the State Chancellery of the Federal Province of Saxony-Anhalt and the Chairman of the Commission of the Ministers of European Matters of the Federal provinces in Germany were present at the official ceremony.
In the main, 15 certificates in the category of Big Enterprises have been granted to leading Bulgarian construction companies. 19 companies in the construction branch have been awarded in the category of Middle and Small Enterprises.
