The investments in machinery and equipment during the year are more than 3 000.000 Bulagrian levs.
The leading Bulgarian manufacturer of adhesives, plasters and thermal insulating mate-rials Terazid EOOD reported a growth sales profit by 24% during 2008. Notwithstand-ing the negative estimates for the construction line of business, relevant to the economic crisis, the company follows a policy on modernization of production and repositioning.
And here is why we managed to achieve the projected results for the past year and from the beginning of this year we report on an insignificant decrease of volume of products in demand, said Rossen Stankov, the Manager of Terazid EOOD. There is no underesti-mating the fact that construction projects that have been already started are accom-plished at present, and our products are in demand mainly in the finishing stage, added Rossen Stankov.
During the past year Terazid EOOD investments in buildings, machinery and equipment exceeded 3 000.000 Bulagrian levs. Main investment items are the new installation for plasters put into operation by the company and the silos equipment purchased.
Terazid EOOD is the first Bulgarian manufacturer that began offering its clients a deliv-ery of adhesives and putties on a cement base by siloss. Next year we plan to offer in the form of silos not only dry mortar but paste type plasters that are in great request, said Rossen Stankov.
Terazid EOOD is a leader among the Bulgarian companies in the segment of polymeric plasters with water- repellant properties. Only over the past year more than 1 300 000 sq. m. of facade surfaces were completed with plasters of Terazid EOOD. In order to facilitate its customers and to cut the delivery term of plasters in the desired colour, the company installed toning machines for tinting of paste type exterior plasters in stores of its 20 distributors within the country.
An increase of this number is expected as that our customers can get exterior plasters in the cooler selected by them at the moment of order, summarized the innovations Rossen Stankov.
At the end of 2008 Terazid EOOD certificated its production on two new systems – for healthy and safe working environment (BS OHSAS 18001:2007) and for environmental safety (ISO 14001:2004). The company met the quality management requirements and holds a certificate of quality ISO 9001:2000 and has been maintaining the system for more than 6 years. Terazid EOOD ranks among the first certificated the an entire heat insulating system under the Bulgarian State Standard (BSS).
