The established Bulgarian manufacturer exhibits a solution for transportation, mix-ing, pumping out and laying during the Bulgarian Construction Week Exhibition.
The established Bulgarian manufacturer of adhesives, plasters and thermal insulating materials Terazid EOOD introduces a new, up-to-date mode of construction project servicing by a silo equipment. The silo equipment will be exhibited at the Bulgarian Construction Week Exhibition at the Inter Expo Center, 10 -14 March, 2009.
Up to now, gypsum and lime-cement mixtures have been mainly offered in silos, but not adhesives and putties on a cement base. Right at the beginning of the construction season, Terazid EOOD will offer its customers an opportunity for getting adhesives, putties on a cement base and lime-cement and gypsum mixtures in silos. This new method of operation not only helps the company’s customers by elimination the neces-sity for unloading and storing of building materials, but ensures a higher efficiency with less number of workers available.
“Since last year, we started introducing machines not only for laying on dry building mixes, but also paste-like products – hydro isolations, paints, plasters. We have already registered a keen interest in them and the next step to help our customers’ work was the silo equipment introduction”, commented Rossen Stankov, the Manager of Terazid EOOD upon the innovation. “We hope in the course of the following 12 months to be able to offer our customers silos for paste –like products too”, added Rossen Stankov.
Terazid SiloMix 3.0 are equipped with integrated mixers. After the starting delivery of 4,5 tons of Terazid dry mixtures, silo resupply with bulk material is possible to be done by big bags, delivered by a crane truck.
One of the products that was tested and certified to work with Terazid SiloMix is for instance, TERMOZID used for gluing and puttying of heat insulating panels of EPS, XPS type or mineral wool. The silo equipment is extremely effective in the course of operation with Terazid Standart or Terazid Flex adhesives too used for gluing of fa-ience, terracotta or granitogres (fine stoneware tiles).
The integrated mixer to the silo prepares various adhesives and putties on a cement or gypsum base for 12 seconds of the pilot starting. “The automated mixing process of dry mix with water in the recommended consistence by the manufacturer, ensures a good homogeneity of mortar”, explains Rosen Stankov.
This is only one of the possible conveniences of the silo equipment. The mechanical transportation of the finished material at the required place and construction height additionally optimizes the process. An excellent transportation solution of the finished material is to use a self- feeding pump which feeds the mix through a hose at a distance of 40 m. “Along with the speed of preparation and transportation, an irreplaceable convenience is the various nozzles for material application according its function and base”, comment the experts.
In a few words, the main advantages as a result of usage of silo equipment may be generalized as follows:
• you save time from unloading, mixing and material delivery;
• labour costs are reduced;
• you do not throw away excessive material;
• material theft risk is nullified;
• you achieve a constant texture of mixtures in the process of preparation and avoid making mistakes as a result of material used not according to its function;
• you considerably reduce the volume of construction waste
• process optimization at the site requires less space.
