The multifunctional polyurethane foam-like adhesive is the new product which was put on the market by the Bulgarian manufacturer of glues, plasters, and insulating materials TERAZID EOOD.
The polyurethane foam serves to gluing of heat-insulating /EPS and XPS/ boards. It is extremely convenient for use and has a low material flow, thus by a 750 ml bottle a larger area is covered, than by a 25 kg bag of cement based glue. Other important product advantages are its excellent adhesion to critical areas and high quality joint filling in the isolation layer without thermo-bridges.
The foam is applied by a pistol on the outside edge sheet and W-shaped in the middle, after that, the sheets are pressed to the base. The adhesive hardening time depends on the temperature and atmospheric moisture. Best result while glueing is achieved in the course of temperature interval from -5°C up to +25°C. Work time is not more than 10-15 min., for final glueing about 2 hours, when dowelling may start. It gives an opportunity to perform such operations like gluing, dowelling, and reinforced plastering.
To facilitate its customers TERAZID EOOD also offers a foam cleaner and professional metal pistol with teflon coating for polyurethane foam spreading.
