This year’s first copy of the “National Geographic” popular magazine pleased its readers with a long article about the ancient history and the present state of the antique mosaics, made of broken pebbles of different colour, which have been discovered in different places in our country.
“A Mosaic Tale” has been written by the Bulgarian team of the prestigious magazine with the help of Bulgarian manufacturer of glues, plasters and heat insulating materials TERAZID EOOD. The publication is part of the already started campaign for support and popularization of Bulgarian cultural heritage.
“As a part of the campaign in the year 2007 we took exceptional photographs of the little known, but very interesting antique mosaics in Bulgaria and we wanted them to reach as many people as possible”, the Manager of TERAZID EOOD, Rossen Stankov, explains the initiative. “We are happy, that the “National Geographic” team joined the noble cause.”, he added.
The “Bulgarian Cultural Heritage” campaign is a part of TERAZID’s activities as a Bulgarian manufacturer with social responsibilities. Last year the company received the special award of the Sixth National Competition for company calendars at the Printcom exhibition in Plovdiv and the price of Reklamaexpo for its advertising materials.
This year TERAZID EOOD continues the campaign with the theme of authentic Bulgarian national costumes.
