Terazid EOOD was awarded an International Quality Prize

Bulgarian manufacturer of glues, plasters and insulating materials TERAZID EOOD was awarded an international Trade Leaders’ Club quality prize. Emil Kopchev, Area Manager was handed the prize – a statuette and a certificate of honour at an official ceremony in Rome, Italy on 18 June, 2007.

TERAZID EOOD was the only Bulgarian company which won the prestigious prize of the 21st award issue. Generally, 35 companies- representatives of various lines of business from five continents were awarded this year.

“It is an honour for us to be nominated for the quality prize among so many companies from all over the world. It is recognition for the whole team of the company and for Bulgarian quality of produce as a whole.

It has been 11 years since TERAZID EOOD is on Bulgarian building materials market, successfully competing not only with Bulgarian manufacturers of cement glues, facade plasters and paint but with produce of foreign companies of over a hundred years history. During this period, we won recognition as a leading Bulgarian manufacturer of cement glues, facade plasters and paint”, stated TERAZID’s Area Manager, Emil Kopchev in the course of the ceremony. “Besides the high quality of produce, we should add that TERAZID EOOD has at its disposal the widest distributor network throughout the country,” he added.

Prize nominations are named after consultation with more than 14 000 Trade Leaders’ Club members, from 120 countries who provide recommendations and appraisals about companies from their area which deserve to win the prize. Selection of companies comprises also a profound study of introduced standards and systems on quality control and financial results as well as development of companies during recent years.

“The international award on quality is not only a bragging right, but our responsibility to keep on providing better quality of produce and service level to our customers,” stated TERAZID’s Manager, Mr. Rosen Stankov, on the occasion of prize obtaining. I believe that after joining the European Union new markets, opportunities and challenges will come out ahead of us and our Trade Leaders’ Club membership also will provide opportunity for contact-making, obtaining references and future mutual joint action with the other members”, he added.

The international quality prize is not the first professional one for TERAZID EOOD. Last year the company was awarded a Certificate of best trade and manufacturing practice by the Bulgarian Building Chamber, under the heading of Sizeable Enterprises. TERAZID EOOD is a winner of the international Plovdiv Fair gold medal, Golden Key prize and Golden Wing of Success prize. The company holds a Certificate of Quality ISO 9000:2001 and is one of the first Bulgarian manufacturers who started providing heat-insulation integrated system, certified in conformity with Bulgarian State Standard.

TERAZID EOOD also carries out important social activity and this summer will insulate a third in turn kindergarten, free of charge.
